Every individual has gifts to be discovered, nurtured and cherished. At Country Breeze Farm, we regularly celebrate the personal achievements of every Farmer and publicly recognize their efforts and achievements. Farmer accomplishments bring so much pride to our community and award ceremonies are a highlight of the month.
Awards for On-Farm Activities
Farmer of the Month: Each month, Country Breeze Farm honors one male and one female Farmer with this distinguished award, given to those who exhibit outstanding citizenship and exemplary behavior. Farmers receive these awards during group meetings and are given a ribbon and framed certificate with their photo. The awards are displayed in the Country Breeze Farm multi-use building the entire month.
Good Works Awards: Farmers are recognized monthly for numerous reasons that are not only a personal accomplishment, but also a benefit to our entire community such as overall attitude, kind acts towards others, cleanliness of personal space, and good hygiene practices. We also celebrate good works of Farmers who have made strides towards a personal goal or accomplishment.
Certificates of Completion/Milestones Recognition: Programs such as Project Discovery, Arts and Crafts, Life Skills Training, Farm Chores, Vocational Accomplishments, and Animal Support Services provide opportunities to recognize and award Farmers for their accomplishments. In addition, in group meetings each month, we recognize Farmer birthdays for that month and the anniversaries of those Farmers who have been at Country Breeze Farm for multiple years.
Awards for Off-Farm Activities
Special Olympics: At the local, regional and state levels, Farmers frequently earn not only gold, silver and bronze medals, but lots of accolades on their consistently sportsmanlike conduct. Most of the Farmers participate in Special Olympics.
County Fair: With so much incredible talent and craft-making resources, the Farmers get a tremendous sense of satisfaction from creating craft items they can enter in the Fair. Some years Farmers also have the opportunity to enter the farm animals in the fair.
